Terms of Service

1. Who can use SkeelReel

SkeelReel is only for people 18 or older. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will suspend or delete it.

You agree to give accurate information about yourself and your work, not to create a profile for someone else without their permission, and that you are responsible for activity on your account.

2. What SkeelReel is

SkeelReel is a public skill profile. Your profile shows who you are, your work and a way to reach you, at a link anyone can open. Your videos ("Skeels") are links to posts you have on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or Vimeo; we display those posts using the platforms' own players and do not host the video files.

3. Your content

You own the content you add ("Your Content"), including text, photos, links and the posts you link to. You grant SkeelReel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce and share Your Content as needed to operate, show and promote the Service, including showing your public profile to visitors. This license ends when Your Content is removed, except where it has been shared or must be kept for legal reasons.

You confirm that you own Your Content or have permission to use it, including permission from anyone who appears in it, and that linking to it does not break another platform's rules or anyone's rights.

4. Content and conduct standards

SkeelReel is for showing real skill and real work. Everyone is welcome, including creators, influencers, tradespeople, artists and businesses. We judge content and behavior, not who you are or what industry you work in.

You may not post or link to:

• Sexually explicit content or nudity, or links whose main purpose is promoting sexually explicit content or services.
• Anything involving minors in a sexual or exploitative way. We report this to the authorities.
• Illegal content or offers, including illegal goods or services.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or promotion of violence.
• Content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
• Impersonation, fake reviews, false job listings, or misleading credentials or licenses.
• Spam, scams, malware, or deceptive links.

You also agree not to:

• Scrape or harvest data from the Service without written permission.
• Interfere with the Service or try to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
• Use SkeelReel to send unsolicited messages.

5. Enforcement

We may remove content, limit a profile, or suspend or end an account that breaks these Terms, when required by law, or when we reasonably believe it creates risk for others or for SkeelReel. If you believe we made a mistake, you can contact us and we will review it.

6. Ending your account

You can stop using SkeelReel at any time and delete your account yourself from the account menu while signed in. Deletion is permanent. See our Privacy Policy for what is removed.

7. Plans

SkeelReel has a free plan. Paid plans are not on sale yet. Before any paid plan is offered, we will publish its price, billing, cancellation and refund terms.

8. Third-party services

SkeelReel displays and links to services such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Vimeo, and to links profile owners add. Those services and sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. SkeelReel is a platform: we do not employ, endorse or vouch for the people or businesses who use it. Verify credentials, licenses and references yourself before hiring, booking or working with anyone.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkeelReel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
